Our Process

9 to 5 Search specializes in recruiting top talent for full-time positions. The foundation of our process lies within our ability to leverage a network of 50,000 active and passive candidates, and to continuously source new candidates for specific searches through a variety of recruiting tools and platforms.  Our vetting process - of both potential clients and candidates - is thorough to find the all-around best suited person for the position, matching employer needs with candidate skills, talent, and culture.

Getting Started

The process is simple. Contact 9 to 5 Search and speak with one of our expert recruiters who will ask you specific questions about your organization, the position, and the skills and traits you desire for the position. The Recruiting Specialist will send you a 9 to 5 Search Requirements Agreement (RA), a document outlining the position details. Once you approve the RA, we begin sourcing and screening candidates for your position.

Resumes & Interviews

After determining the top candidates for your position, 9 to 5 Search will send you their resumes with detailed write-ups for your review. You choose the candidates you wish to meet; then we schedule interviews for you. Once you find the right fit for your position,  you have two placement options, described below.

Two Placement Options

9 to 5 Search clients have two great options when bringing on a new employee:

Hourly Bill Rate

With this option, we payroll the person and simply charge you an hourly bill rate. This hourly rate includes payroll, payroll taxes, workers’ compensation insurance, liability insurance, unemployment insurance and our related services. We send you a convenient weekly invoice. You only pay for the hours that our 9 to 5 employee works for you. It’s as easy as that. Clients are given the opportunity to convert or “buyout” their 9 to 5 Search employee after he or she has worked for six months. The standard buyout is equal to one month’s billing averaged over the six-month employment period; with a minimum fee of $1,250.  

Direct Placement

This option bypasses our six month placement plan, putting the candidate directly on your payroll for a fee. Our standard Direct Placement fee is 25% of the annual salary the client will be paying the candidate; with a minimum fee of $1,500. We offer a 60-day guarantee on this type of placement.
